Beryl trained at the Cape Town Academy of Shiatsu (now the Academy of Shiatsu) in basic and advanced Shiatsu. Before studying Shiatsu Beryl worked in the Medical field as a trained Nurse and Midwife. Her continued passion for Midwifery took her Shiatsu training further and she studied in Bristol with Suzanne Yates - Author of "Shiatsu for Midwives" - in advanced shiatsu techniques for Pregnancy. Beryl has also studied metaphysical Energy Healing and has combined her knowledge and skills in her private practice specializing in Shiatsu for Pregnancy.

As owner of the Academy of Shiatsu Beryl aims to offer continued Quality Education & Training in Shiatsu and Energy work. We offer small intimate classes with one-on-one personal supervision to maintain the professional standard we have created.
Beryl has also trained in Thailand in the practice of internal abdominal detox massage know as Chi Nei Tsang.This is a very deep and profound threaputic massage of the abdominal organs releasing tension,knots and blockages from deep within the body. For more information see link on the left.

Randall Tolliman Teacher / Therapist
Randall has been practicing shiatsu for 12 years. He received his training in basic and Advanced Shiatsu from the South African Association for Shiatsu Practitioners, and is also
qualified a Teacher at the Academy of Shiatsu.
Randall is our number one "Guru" in teaching Head, Neck & shoulders module and his thorough instruction high standards ensures every therapist leaves with confidence in their newfound skills.
Over the years he has gained a reputation of excellence, particularly helping sufferers of back pain, headaches & migraines, stress relief and relief of irregular sleep patterns.Randall also works with the Bowen techniques and trigger point therapy.
He has his own studio in Green Point, Cape Town where he treats clients with a variety of chronic pain conditions that respond well to Shiatsu, allowing one to function on a higher level
